In 2020, there will be three elections:

March 3, 2020 – Presidential Nominating Primary (PNP)

In 2016 legislation was passed establishing a presidential nomination primary. The current election law specific to the presidential primary is in Minnesota Statutes Chapter 207A and Minnesota Rules Chapter 8215. PNP Absentee Ballot Application

This is a different application than what will be used for the Primary and General Elections.  That application will be available after the first of the year.

August 11, 2020 – State Primary

November 3, 2020 – General Election

Polling Location Added
Albertville has split its one precinct into two.  Voters located south of I-94 and west of Wright County State Aid Highway 19 will continue to vote at STMA Middle School West, 11343 50th Street NE.  Voters located north I -94 as well as voters south of I-94 but east of CSAH 19 will now vote at the St. Albert Parish Center, 11458 57th Street NE.

New Voting Equipment
Wright County has purchased new voting tabulators and electronic poll pads (roster books) for precincts within the county.  This equipment will increase efficiencies at the polls and streamline election day processes.
